This brand new program is for older preschoolers. Every week will feature a short storytime and a different art experience for each child and their caregiver to enjoy together. We’ll focus on the process of creating, not the product. Smocks will be provided, but play clothes for children and adults are recommended.
 

As you know, 2010 was unkind to HTFL and libraries across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with a cut in state funding of 21%.  As a result we were forced to cut some of our hours of public service.  Although there is another reduction of 11% for 2011 in state funding, there is good news.  The Township of Haverford Board of Commissioners approved additional funding of $20,000 to the 2011 library appropriation to assist the library in reopening 6 of the lost hours.  The new hours for HTFL are as follows:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - 10am to 9pm

Thursday - 10am to 6pm

Friday and Saturday - 10am to 5pm

Sunday - 1pm to 5pm
