Have you Heard?

The Haverford Township Free Library is one of 35 libraries nationwide to receive an American Library Association travelling exhibition titled "In a Nutshell: The Worlds of Maurice Sendak."  The event will take place from March 8 through April 20 and involve a series of programs exploring the influences on Sendak's work, including the sights and sounds of his childhood in New York in the 1930's , friends and family, his family's history and his Jewish identity.  Stay tuned for further information on this exhibit and program series.
