Another session of Lego Club has come to an end! Today we focused on the silly holiday of International Tiara Day, celebrated on Friday, May 24. Going along with the idea of tiaras and crowns and those that wear them, today's challenge was to build a castle of any kind. Check out what our crew came up with today:
This brings the spring 2013 session of Lego Club to an end! We will be on a break til the week of June 17 when all summer programs will start up again! Til then, enjoy the last month of school and hope to see you at 4 on Wednesdays come summer!
May is Military Appreciation Month so we decided to honor that by building military-inspired creations in Lego Club today! The group was quite focused today on what they were building. Check out their lego creations below:

There are some really silly holidays out there! Did you know that this past Friday on May 3 was National Two Different-Colored Shoes Day? In keeping with the spirit of this silly holiday, at Lego Club today, we make two different-colored creations. See if we kept to the two colors below:

A new month means new holidays! May marks both Motorcycle Safety Month as well as National Bike Month. To commemorate both of these celebrations, in Lego Club, we made our own two-wheeled creations. See what we came up with below:

What a gorgeous day we have today! It's even more fitting that this week is National Playground Safety Awareness Week! To commemorate this holiday and the beautiful weather, lego clubbers created their own playgrounds as well as different things one might find in a playground or park. Check them out below:
