School Visits

The Haverford Township Free Library provides outreach and curriculum support to local schools, including public and parochial schools. Curriculum support is provided when requested. The library can provide teachers, administrators, and students with resources and materials of varying kinds.

In addition, local school groups are invited and encouraged to visit the library to learn about our resources and services. We are able to provide a wide range of customized visits for children of all ages.  Furthermore, we’re happy to coordinate visits in the schools at a time that is mutually convenient for all parties.  Some of the lessons taught at the elementary level included book awards, getting to know Haverford Township Free Library, and Summer Reading Club.

Please contact the Youth Services Department in person, by phone at 610-446-3082 x504, or by email at youthservices@haverfordlibrary.org to schedule a time for your class to visit the library for a tour, storytime, or instructional program.
