HTFL is pleased to offer three different kinds of kits available to check out on a first come, first serve basis. These kits can be renewed up to three times, similar to books.
Grandkits originally were purchased through a grant attained by the Delaware County Library System (DCLS) and distributed to county libraries. Each blue bag includes a variety of books, activity pages, manipulatives and other assorted items all pertaining to a particular theme. HTFL Kids' Kits built upon the popularity seen with the Grandkits and expanded the themes available to patrons. Each green or light blue backpack includes books, movies, puppets, and other assorted manipulatives depending on the corresponding theme. HTFL Puzzles Kits are strictly limited to puzzles aimed at children ages 5 and under. Each purple backpack includes 3 puzzles all about a specific topic. To see which kits are available in the catalog, search "HTFL Puzzles Kit" in the title field or click here.
