Young children and their grownups are invited to join a Brandywine Museum of Art educator for a fun Read-Aloud experience. After an interactive reading of the book Arlo Draws an Octopus, participants will use their five senses to explore fine art prints from the museum. Next, they will create their own masterpiece inspired by what they have heard and seen, complete with a decorated frame. All participants will also receive a worksheet for further engagement and a Brandywine Museum coloring sheet.
The first twenty-four families to arrive and check in at the reference desk will also receive a paperback copy of the book Arlo Draws an Octopus.
