Join us for Fire Prevention Week, October 6-12, as the library partners with the Brookline Fire Company for a special outdoor storytime on Thursday, October 10th for our youngest patrons! Children can explore a real fire truck and meet brave firefighters while we read stories about fire safety, fire engines, the importance of smoke alarms, and fire prevention. Firefighter Chris will demonstrate how he gears up for his job, helping kids understand not to be afraid of firefighters in full gear. At the end, kids can even become ‘volunteer firefighters’ by spraying water from the fire department’s big hose!
No registration required.
For children ages 0-5.
Location: Grange Park (599 Cumberland Road, Havertown, PA 19083)
