The Delaware County Symphony and Haverford Township Free Library invite all families to a free Instrument Discovery Event. Classically trained musicians will explain and demonstrate to the children how their instruments individually sound and are uniquely used in classical music to make a full symphonic sound. The program will conclude with an ensemble performance of “Simple Gifts” and “When the Saints Go Marching In” so the children may hear the sounds of the instruments performing together.
Registration is required, as space is limited.
