Digital Resources and Programs & Services are being provided online
In the interest of public health, Governor Wolf and the Office of Commonwealth Libraries have issued a directive stating the Library will remain closed until further notice is given.
During this time, please keep your library materials at home with you, as our book drops will remain closed.
We have extended the due date on all checked out Library materials through May 22. (If needed, this due date will be extended.)
Although the Library is closed, our staff is working to provide virtual programming, services and digital resources to serve our community. Click here to learn about our virtual programming during our closure.
We are also videoing short segments to assist you with how to utilize our digital collections, use other technologies, and social media. Click here to find out more about our virtual services.
The Library has over 40 databases that you can access from your home including Overdrive/Libby, Hoopla and RBDigital. Click here to access our list of digital resources.
The Library also sees the closure as an opportune time to enable staff in our Circulation and Tech Services departments to gain valuable professional development. This includes getting to know all of our library’s databases (40+), and attending webinars to sharpen their skills, which will be beneficial to the community and the Library.
Our Reference librarians are available for you if you have any questions, scholarly or not, or about COVID-19 by calling 610-446-3082. Our telephone hours are Monday-Friday 10 am – 5 pm.
In the meantime, to keep up to date on our status and our current programs, services, and resources, please visit our website, check our Facebook page, and sign up for our e-newsletter The HTFL Connection.
Please know that your Library is here for you during this remarkable chapter of our lives, and we look forward to seeing you at the Library as soon as we are all able!
