We are proud to present our new collection of Museum Passes which are made possible through ongoing funding from the Library Foundation of Delaware County and the Friends of the Haverford Township Free Library.
Admission passes to the following cultural institutions are available for a 3 day loan to any Delaware County Library System adult cardholder in good standing. Call to check for availability.
The Museum Pass program allows our patrons free access to specific museums. Below is information regarding the specific benefits, rules and expectations for using the Museum Passes.
Checking out:
- The pass is free to adults with a current Delaware County library card free of fines.
- Holds are not permitted on Museum Passes, however, you may call ahead on the day you wish to pick up the pass and, if available, it will be held for two (2) hours or until closing, whichever occurs first. If you do not pick up the pass within that time, it will be made available to the next person who requests it.
- You must sign a borrower's agreement at the time of check out.
Your visit:
- The library does not guarantee patrons access to the museum. Patrons must call or check the museum website before visiting to be sure there are no closures, changes to hours, or events that would impact a patron's access.
- Patrons should be prepared to present their Delaware County library card to museum staff upon arrival.
Returning:
- Passes must be returned by closing time on the due date.
- Museum Passes MUST be returned to the Haverford Township Free Library ONLY. You may return the pass to a staff member at the front desk or, if the library is closed, you may return in the book drop at the library entrance.
- Daily Overdue Fine: $10.00 per day up to a $100 maximum.
- Replacement fees for lost or stolen membership cards vary by institution.
