October 6–10 is Fire Prevention Week, and we’re celebrating with a special storytime!
The Brookline Fire Company will visit our library with their big fire truck and firefighter gear. One of our brave firefighters will read us a story all about fire engines, fire safety, and the important work firefighters do. Then, we’ll see how firefighters put on their special gear to stay safe while fighting fires.
After the story and demonstration, we’ll head outside together to explore the fire truck up close—and even try spraying water with the fire hose!
