This program is a hands-on teen maker program where participants design and create decorative flower string lights using felt, cardboard, and a Cricut cutting machine. Teens will learn the basics of digital design and Cricut operation as they cut flower shapes, leaves, and templates, then assemble them into colorful, light-up garlands.
The program blends crafting with light STEM and design skills, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Finished string lights can be used to decorate bedrooms, lockers, or study spaces, giving teens a functional keepsake they designed themselves. All materials are provided, and no prior Cricut experience is required.
