This program is a hands-on maker program where participants listen to a book about flowers, then design and create decorative flower string lights using felt and cardboard and assemble them into colorful, light-up garlands.
The program blends crafting with design skills, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Finished string lights can be used to decorate bedrooms, lockers, or study spaces, giving children a functional keepsake they designed themselves. All materials are provided.
