Join us for a relaxing and creative crafting session where you’ll learn the art of kumihimo, a traditional Japanese braiding technique. In this hands-on workshop, participants will discover how to use a kumihimo disk to create beautiful, intricate beaded bracelets. If you have been here before, come and learn new weaves!
The program will begin with a brief overview of the history of kumihimo and its cultural significance, followed by step-by-step instruction on setting up your threads, adding beads, and finishing your bracelet with clasps or charms. All materials will be provided, and participants will leave with their own handmade bracelet and the skills to continue this meditative craft at home.
