Spooky Circuits is a fun, hands-on Halloween-themed STEM program where kids (ages 8–12) learn the basics of electricity by creating light-up paper crafts using simple circuits!
In this one-hour session, kids will use LED lights, copper tape, and coin cell batteries to make their own glowing Halloween decorations—like jack-o’-lanterns with twinkling eyes, ghosts with flickering lights, or haunted houses that light up in the dark. While building their spooky creations, participants will learn how circuits work, what conductors are, and how to safely power a light with just a battery and tape.
The program blends art and science to spark creativity and curiosity. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is needed. Kids take home their light-up masterpieces at the end!
Perfect for a Halloween celebration with a STEM twist.
