What are some of your favorite memories of libraries growing up? What were your favorite books when you were younger? How have libraries changed since you were a child? How to you view the libraries of the future?
In celebration of National Library Week we are hosting a multigenerational pizza party where we are sharing our stories about what a library means to us.
Children, teens, adults and seniors are invited to share your stories while eating yummie pizza! You can write a note about what Libraries mean to you and put is on our ‘There’s More to the Story’ wall, or you can also “interview” another person (a parent, sibling, grandparent, friend, etc) in 5-10 minute segments about that person’s experiences with public libraries and books.
Recorded segments may be used in a future podcast. We look forward to celebrating libraries with members of our community!
Registration is not required, but is appreciated so we can order enough pizza!
