Each month we read and discuss a different nonfiction book. This month’s selection is 
Wild Game: My Mother, Her Lover, and Me by Adrienne Brodeur.
Wild Game is about Brodeur hiding an affair of her mother from her mother’s husband beginning in July 1980. Brodeur was 14 years old at that time. It has been called, “a brilliant, timeless memoir about how the people close to us can break our hearts simply because they have access to them, and the lies we tell in order to justify the choices we make.”
