The November selection for Reading for Understanding (the nonfiction book club) is Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson.
This book, which is soon to become a motion picture, is “a powerful true story about the potential for mercy to redeem us, a clarion call to fix our broken justice system – from one of the most brilliant and influential lawyers of our time.”
Note: This book group normally meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month, but is meeting on the 3rd Monday because of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Limited copies will be available at the Reference Desk at the end of October.
