Tea & Stitch Needlework Group:
Meet every Friday at 10:00 AM to stitch, drink tea, and visit! Share your projects, get advice, and make progress on your handiwork in a friendly, relaxed environment.
Quilting Group:
Quilting Group: Meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 2:00 PM over Zoom. Join fellow quilters to discuss patterns, techniques, and helpful books, and share your finished pieces through show-and-tell.
Friday Movie Matinee:
Friday Movie Matinee: Join us on Fridays at 1:00 PM for the latest movie releases! Sit back, relax, and enjoy a feature film with friends in the library’s comfortable screening space.
Visible Mending:
Learn the timeless art of sashiko mending in this hands-on workshop! Repair and reinforce worn or torn fabric using simple running-stitch techniques while adding bold, decorative patterns to your clothing.
Book Clubs:
No matter your interests, we have a book club for you! Meet regularly to discuss graphic novels, cookbooks, mysteries, history, romance, and more—connect with others who share your love of reading.
Exhibit: Who Can Vote?:
Explore the history of voting rights in the US! This exhibition examines the Constitution and the role of states and federal government in determining voter eligibility, from the founding era through the 2000 election.
Mah Jongg:
Join us for Mah Jongg play at HTFL! Two sessions are offered: Thursday afternoons from 12:00–2:00 PM and Wednesday evenings from 6:30–8:30 PM. Sets provided, or bring your own. Experienced players only.
Chess for Adults:
Meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 6:30–8:30 PM for relaxed, friendly chess! All skill levels are welcome to play, observe, and learn in a casual, participant-led setting. Boards provided.
